Page 2: Gnome is good, it's funny and will be easier to print on white than red. I think the blue type is a problem, though it kind of fights the red and green palette you've set up in the artwork... Page 3: The red page is so crowded compared to the Gnome page, the weight of the spread is out of balance and it makes Gnome page suffer.
My gut keeps telling me that the empty Santa hat isn't enough... I'm awaiting rep reaction. I like the statement, though.
I'm also still not sure about Vixen. Reaction around the office has been positive, but no squealing.
I think because this spread kicks off the catalog it needs more balance across the spread and more sizzle somehow.
